0302 Visa extension for nationals without registered household in Taiwan area

The national without registered household in Taiwan area who apply for visa extension upon the expiration of stay for three months; and those who apply for second extension for special event upon the expiration of extension period.Application procedures: apply to the NIA before the visa expiration

Those who apply for extension of 3-month visa: the extension period shall be 3 months from the next day of visa expiration
Those who apply for second extension dye to special event upon the expiration of extension period:
Pregnant over 7 months or have given birth or miscarriage less than 2 months: up to 2 months each time
There is concern of life threatening due to illness if he/she is order to exit the county: up to 2 months each time
The spouse, lineal blood relation, collateral blood relation within 3 degree of kinship, affinity in 2 degree of kinship with registered household in Taiwan area is seriously ill or hospitalized or dead: up to 2 months from the day of occurrence
Encounter natural disaster or other event of force majeure: up to 1 month
