New Immigrant Digital Application Empowerment Program — Apply to Borrow, Get a Free Tablet or Laptop! To encourage new immigrants to borrow mobile devices, the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior is launching the” New Immigrant Digital Application Empowerment Program”, offering a chance to receive a free tablet or laptop. If you are a new immigrant and apply to borrow a tablet or laptop during the event period, you'll have an opportunity to receive the borrowed device for free. Quantities are limited, so hurry and call the customer service hotline or apply online to borrow!

【Participants】
New immigrant friends who successfully borrowed a device starting from July 18, 2024.

【Event Period】
From July 18, 2024, to September 30, 2025.

【Event Prizes】※The actual number of usable devices will be based on the inventory count in early November 2025.
Tablets: Approximately 150 units (not new, mobile internet service not included, valued at approximately NT8,800−NT11,000)
Laptops: Approximately 40 units (not new, mobile internet service not included, valued at approximately NT14,280−NT17,850)

【How to Receive the Gift】
1.Disadvantaged New Immigrant Families: Those who meet the criteria for low-income households, lower-middle-income households, families in special circumstances, families with disabled members, or other disadvantaged statuses will receive priority for gifts.
2.General New Immigrant Families: Gifts will be awarded by lottery.

【Announcement of Gift Recipients】
The list of 190 recipients and 150 waitlisted individuals is expected to be announced on November 7, 2025, on the "New Immigrant Digital Information E-Network." (The actual number of recipients will be based on the inventory count of usable devices in early November 2025.)

【Instructions for Claiming Prizes】
1.The lottery list includes both primary and waitlisted recipients. If a prize winner cannot be reached, their spot will be filled by a waitlisted individual in sequential order.
2.Recipients will receive additional written materials (prize claiming instructions, prize receipt, personal data collection notification, and personal data provision consent form) by mail. Please pay attention to the address provided in your original application form.
3.Recipients must sign and complete the written materials and mail them back via registered mail by 5:00 PM on November 20, 2025 (inclusive). For any questions, please contact us via the customer service hotline: 0800-030-068 or customer service email:nit@pcschool.com.tw

【Important Notes】
1.New immigrant families who successfully borrow a device during the event period will be included in the list of potential recipients.
2.Disadvantaged new immigrants will receive the gifted item based on the device they first borrowed.
3.After the devices are gifted to disadvantaged groups, the remaining equipment will be allocated to general families through a lottery system.
4.You cannot request to change the gifted item or exchange it for equivalent cash. The gifts for this event are based on the physical items, none of which are new, come with no warranty, and do not include mobile internet service.
5.According to the tax laws of the Republic of China, if the prize amount (value) exceeds NT$1,001, you must submit photocopies of both sides of your ID card for tax reporting purposes, and the prize value will be included in your annual consolidated income. If the prize winner is a resident of the Republic of China, the withholding agent should withhold 10% of the full amount of the prize or gift. However, if the withheld tax amount for these devices does not exceed NT$2,000, no tax will be withheld, but it must still be declared. If the prize winner is a non-resident of the Republic of China (i.e., an individual who has resided in the Republic of China for less than 183 days), a 20% withholding tax on accidental income must be paid, regardless of the prize amount, before the prize can be claimed.
6.The value of the tablet prize ranges from NT8,800 to NT11,000; the value of the laptop prize ranges from NT14,280 to NT17,850.
7.If this event cannot be carried out due to force majeure, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, postpone, modify, or suspend the event. Participation is considered an agreement to the terms and conditions of this event. The organizer reserves the right to make the final decision and modify the event's terms and conditions, with details subject to the latest announcement.
