Question:
After I change to the new UI No., will I need to take the initiative to update the particulars of my Alien Citizen Digital Certificate? Or will it be done automatically? If I initiate the update, will I have to pay a fee? Who can I contact about any related questions?
Answer:
When a foreigner holds an Alien Citizen Digital Certificate applied for with the original UI No., and there is a change in their material particulars (issuance of a new UI No.) during the certificate’s validity period, the holder must proactively go to the local NIA window to apply to update the particulars pertaining to the certificate. No fee will be charged. If you have any questions about this, please call the MOI’s Citizen Digital Certificate Customer Service Center (0800-080-117).
