Question:
After I change to the new UI No., can I use it to become a member of the National Theater & Concert Hall (including regular membership, Dear Friends membership, and youth membership)? Also, are tickets I booked previously with my original UI No. still valid? Can I use my new UI No. to check my past record? Who can I contact about any related questions?
Answer:
1. The “Arts Ticket” ticketing system is currently undergoing comprehensive integration and upgrading, with the current system scheduled to be replaced in April 2021. In the future, those who have changed to the new UI No. will be able to use it to register as Dear Friends Members or regular members in the “Arts Ticket”ticketing system. If you have used your original UI No. to register as a member in the past, your previous ticket purchases will still be valid, but you will need to use your old number for logging in to check your past booking record, and will not be able to use the new number for this.
2. A completely new “OPENTIX” ticketing system was launched in November 2020. Registration of membership in this new system will use mobile phone numbers, so changing to the new UI No. will have absolutely no effect on user rights.
3. In addition, the “National Theater & Concert Hall”official website new member system launched in late OCT., can use email registration; and since youth membership will require proof of identity, the new UI No. can be used to apply for it.

2. National Taichung Theater:
(1) Theater members use their UI No. or passport number as their member account login and discount identification number.
(2) The theater does not require that members renew their UI No., and if they do not take the initiative to apply for their membership information to be changed, they can still use their old number to log in to their member account. If you wish to update your UI No., please apply at the theater or by email. You will need to fill in the Application Form for Change of Information and verify your identity. The theater will help you update your member account (UI No.) information, and will transfer the accumulated ticket and other consumption record to the new UI No. account.

2. Weiwuying requires membership applicants to provide their passport number and email address. Also, if Weiwuying members want to log in to the “Arts Ticket”or “OPENTIX”ticketing system to purchase tickets, their identification is based on their passport number.
