“$10,000 Cash for Everyone “– Universal Cash Distribution Website Officially Launched on October 23, 2025

The Special Statute on Strengthening the Resilience of the Economy, Society, and National Security in Response to International Developments was passed in its third reading by the Legislative Yuan on October 17, 2025, and promulgated by the President today (October 23). The Executive Yuan has also approved the “Universal Cash Distribution Plan to Enhance National Resilience in Response to International Developments.”Eligible recipients for this round of universal cash distribution include:
Citizens with household registration in Taiwan; Personnel dispatched overseas on official duties by government agencies and their family members holding ROC nationality; Spouses of ROC nationals who are citizens of Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao, or foreign nationals with valid residence permits; Foreign nationals with permanent residence permits; and Citizens born in Taiwan between April 1 and April 30, 2026.
There are five methods for receiving the payment:
1. Registered account deposit
2. ATM cash withdrawal
3. Post office cash collection
4. Direct deposit
5. Roster-based distribution
