Preface:
To enhance the digital capabilities of new immigrants, strengthen cyber security awareness and media literacy, and increase their willingness of participation in online activities related to learning, social life, economic activities, civic engagement, and health promotion, we are getting involved in the Ministry of Education's "Digital Inclusion and Empowerment Project" To conduct resource integration and sharing through inter-agency collaboration, we are promoting the "Applied Digital Inclusion and Empowerment Project for New Immigrants," offering free computer courses to new immigrants and their children. We also continue to train seed native language instructors and teaching assistants to completely meet the needs of information education, reducing language barriers and allowing new immigrants to enjoy a user-friendly digital environment.

Implementation Status:
1.Development of Diverse Information Courses:
We create innovative and diverse digital courses to enhance the information application skills of new immigrants, providing graded courses to meet different needs.
2.Conducting Free Physical Information Courses for New Immigrants:
Through hands-on and practical courses, we aim to boost the learning interest of new immigrants and their children, strengthen their information skills, enhance basic digital application abilities, and deploy a "mobile learning van" to the areas where new immigrants reside, aligning courses with their schedules to increase participation.
3.Promotion of New Immigrant Digital Learning:
Through the New Immigrant Digital Information Network, we provide online learning, e-books, and various information collections, allowing new immigrants to learn and access relevant information through the website. The network has mobile and multilingual versions, reducing barriers for new immigrants and providing them with convenient services.
4.Training of New Immigrant Instructors and Teaching Assistants:
Starting from training new recruits, by making them teaching assistants, and training them to become instructors, we gradually enhance the information capabilities of new immigrant recruits who then offer assistance to their friends, expanding our services. This model of using new immigrants to serve new immigrants can address the learning challenges met by new immigrants, allowing more new immigrants to participate in the services related project.
5.Provision of Mobile Devices and Free Internet Services:
We provide tablets or laptops for new immigrant families to borrow for free and offer them free, unlimited 4G mobile internet services monthly, facilitating learning at all times, and anywhere.

Conclusion:
We will continue to plan information courses for new immigrants, strengthening their information skills and increasing their willingness of participation in online activities related to learning, social life, economic activities, civic engagement, and health promotion. By assisting new immigrants in effectively utilizing information technology, we aim to foster their applied digital capabilities and improve their information skills year by year to allow digital technology to blend into their daily life and enable them to become part of Taiwan's local community.
