How long is a certificate of criminal record within 5 years valid?

A certificate of criminal record authenticated by the Straits Exchange Foundation is valid for 3 months from the issuance date of a notary certificate and the period is calculated from the application date 5 years backward. A notary certificate issued on the date prior to 3 months from the day of the applicant’s entry is deemed valid.
