NIA Hualien County Service Center held “2021 New Immigrants Networks Caring Conference” To enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors, NIA Hualien County Service Center held the “2021 New Immigrants Networks Caring Conference” on Sep 29th in the Eastern Taiwan Joint Services Center.In regards to the economic difficulty during the COIVD pandemic, Hualien Employment Service Center promoted “Job Training And Readjustment Program” for new immigrants to access employment; Hualien New Immigrants Humanities Development and Exchange Association(新住民人文發展交流協會) also provided consulting and referral services to help new immigrants in need. Additionally, the Hualien Branch of Legal Aid Foundation promoted their services in the conference, including legal consulting and litigation services related to Family Act such as marriage, guardianship over minors, and succession.NIA Hualien County Service Center reiterated the new UI number policy. As the quintuple stimulus voucher has been the hottest topic, NIA Hualien County Service Center also said that the foreign spouses, Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC) holders; and diplomats are eligible.Director Hu (胡朝仁) of NIA Hualien County Service Center said, by cooperating with the local NGOs, the government can provide abundant resources for new immigrants in all aspects. The conference created meaningful dialogue to form the future basis for prosperity in the communities.
